Baby Boom Health (“we,” “us”) is the patient advocacy practice of Cheryl A. Scharoun, RN, BSN, BCPA. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you send the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, who needs help and your message. We use it only to reply to you and to talk about whether and how we can help.
Please don’t include detailed medical information in the form. The website isn’t meant for sharing medical records. We’ll go over the specifics by phone. If you become a client, your health information is handled under your client agreement.
Information collected automatically
- Bot protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from spam bots. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser and device. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure.
- No tracking for advertising. This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers, and we don’t sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you: website hosting, the service that receives and stores contact form messages and delivers them to us by email or text message, and bot protection. They may use it only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable records of our conversations, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Call 919-622-0840 or send a request through the contact form.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Links to other websites
This site links to other organizations, such as professional associations and Google reviews. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the effective date above.
